Join the Downtown Synagogue, Detroit Jews for Justice, Congregation T’Chiyah and Congregation Shir Tikvah, in-person, for a community screening of "40 Days of Teshuvah", a short film about bringing Jewish spiritual practice into the fight for racial justice. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Yehudah Webster (featured prominently in the film) and Rabbi David Jaffe of the IOWA project. After viewing the film, we’ll engage in a meaningful discussion around our racial justice work, and expand on ways to bring spiritual tools from the film into our liberation work.
